Starting a project

After a short call, I send you a summary with the package, the price and the timeline.

A 50% deposit, paid online through Stripe, reserves your spot and starts the work. The remaining 50% is due before the final files are delivered or the website goes live.

Timelines count from the day I receive the deposit and everything I need from you (content, photos, logins).

Rounds of changes

Each package includes the concepts and rounds of changes listed on the page. A round is one set of combined feedback, sent together.

Extra rounds, or a new direction after a concept has been approved, are billed at $75 per hour. I'll always tell you before extra time is billed.

Cancellation and refunds

Before I start the concepts: deposit refunded minus a $20 fee.

After the concepts are presented: the deposit is not refundable, because the creative work has been done.

If a project is paused by the client for more than 60 days, it can be closed and restarted later as a new project.

Refunds go back to the original card through Stripe within 5 to 10 business days.

Who owns the work

When the project is paid in full, you own the final logo, brand files and website design delivered to you, and can use them for your business without limits.

Concepts that were not chosen stay mine.

Fonts, stock photos and plugins keep their own licenses. I'll tell you if any need to be purchased in your name.

I may show the finished work in my portfolio and marketing. If you need the project kept private, tell me before we start.

Websites

You own your domain and hosting accounts, in your name. Their costs are billed by the providers and are not included in the price.

The website package includes 1 month of support after launch. Website care after that is optional, month to month, and can be cancelled anytime before the next billing date.

You are responsible for the text, photos and information you provide, and for having the rights to use them.

Liability

I check every file carefully, but please review proofs before approving them. Printing errors in approved proofs are not my responsibility.

My total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Changes and Florida law

I may update these terms. The version posted on the day you pay the deposit applies to that project.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in Lee County, Florida.
